Brandon Thibodeaux is a photographer based in Dallas, Texas, who creates portraits in the documentary tradition. In addition to his assignment work and creative commissions, he explores life in the American south. He is a member of the photography collective MJR, based in New York City. His work appears in American Photo, FT Weekend Magazine, The Guardian Weekend Magazine, MSNBC.com, The New York Times, Real Simple, Shell Oil, TIME.com, and The Wall Street Journal. The Oxford American listed him in its 100 under 100 New Superstars of Southern Art 2012 and in 2013 he was named in the Critical Mass Top 50 garnering one of its three solo exhibition awards.
