Born in Stenungsund, Sweden, Ingvar Kenne completed the Photography Bachelor of Arts at the University of Gotehnburg in 1991, with his debut solo exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Boras, Sweden the following year. Since this time his work has been exhibited worldwide including galleries in England, France,s Spain, Sweden, Italy and Australia. In 2009 he won the National Photographic Portrait Prize at the NPG in Canberra. He was also runner up in the prestigious Moran Photographic Priz the same year. His latest book, CITIZEN - Portraits by Ingvar Kenne 1997-2012 was published by Au.Thentic Press in 2012.
