Jonathan Blaustein is an artist, writer, and educator based in Taos, New Mexico. His conceptual photo series, The Value of a Dollar, was published online by the New York Times in 2010, subsequently went viral on the Internet, and has since been seen by millions of people around the world. A portfolio from the project was acquired for the permanent collections of the Library of Congress, and the State of New Mexico. Jonathan teaches photography at UNM-Taos, and writes for the photo industry blog A Photo Editor. He's currently at work on a new conceptual photo series that will be released in 2012.
