Julie Blackmon’s work is represented by Catherine Edelman Gallery in Chicago and Robert Mann Gallery in New York, along with three other galleries in the United States, and her images have recently appeared on the covers of Photograph, TIME and New York Magazine. She won the CENTER projection competition in 2006 and was one of PDN’s 30 in 2007. She grew up in Springfield, Missouri, and continues to live there with her husband and three children.
