Justin Fiset (b. 1980) is an artist living and working in Los Angeles, CA. He received his Bachelor's of Fine Art in photography with honors from the University of New Mexico in 2003. After college he worked as a studio assistant and archivist to the artists Joyce Neimanas and Robert Heinecken. Since 2007 Justin has split his time between making photographs and working as an independent curatorial adviser and collection administrator for two private photography collections. His work with the collections has afforded him the opportunity to see thousands of original prints and has introduced him to the work of many photographers. He considers this as a sort of second education as it has so greatly informed his approach to photography.
