Website - RenateAller.com

Renate Aller lives and works in New York City. The long-term project, photographed from a single location, Oceanscapes - One View – 1999 to Present is a critic’s choice by Nord Wennerstrom for ArtForum, reviewed by Vince Aletti for The New Yorker and also highlighted in Martha Schwendener's New York Times review of the Parrish Art Museum's Fall 011 exhibition. Pieces from that series and other site-specific art works are in the collections of corporate institutions, private collectors and museums. A book on the Oceanscapes series has recently been published by Radius Books of Santa Fe in collaboration with Kehrer Verlag Germany. The photo installation “dicotyledon” will be shown at the Adamson Gallery, Washington, D.C. in 2012, accompanied by an artist book, also published by Radius Books.
