Originally from outside of Chicago, Ryan Schude studied at St. Mary’s College of California and the San Francisco Art Institute before beginning as a full-time photographer in 2002. Currently living in Los Angeles, he creates in the fine art, editorial, and advertising realms. Working primarily in narrative tableaux, there are themes of mystery and humor throughout the imagery. He frequently collaborates with other artists and community is an important cornerstone of his work. Recent exhibitions have been in the Bakersfield Museum of Art, Bleicher Gallery, and Galerie 64 Bis in Paris. He has received awards from PX3, Magenta, Art Director's Club, DPP Magazine, and Photo District News. Some clients include McDonald’s, TIME Magazine, Leo Burnet, and Caesars Casinos.
