Samantha Contis received her MFA from Yale University in 2008 and BFA in Photography and Art History from New York University in 2004. Her work has been included in recent exhibitions at Smack Mellon (NYC), Newspace Center for Photography (Portland) and Workspace (Los Angeles). Her photographs have been published in numerous publications including The New York Times Magazine, Capricious, Nomenus Quarterly and T. She is a recipient of the Tierney Fellowship and is currently at work on her first book.
