Taj Forer received his BA from Sarah Lawrence College and an MFA in Photography from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he is currently a lecturer in the Department of Art. Forer was a 2007-2008 Artist-in-Residence at the North Carolina Contemporary Art Museum and is a Founding Editor of Daylight Magazine, the international biannual publication of contemporary documentary photography. A full-length monograph of his recent series, Threefold Sun, was published by Charta Art Books in 2007 and his newest book, Stone by Stone, is available from Kehrer Verlag. He is represented by SENDA and Flanders galleries.
