Andres Gonzalez is a photographer and educator that splits his time between Istanbul, Turkey and Portland, Maine where he teaches at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. He has been nominated for a Baum Award For Emerging American Photographers, was selected as one of PDN’s 30, and is a Fulbright Fellow. His work has also been recognized by the Magenta Foundation, The Alexia Foundation for World Peace, and Canon Italia which awarded him with the Canon Young Photographer's Prize in 2009.
