Anne Lass is a danish/german artist who studied documentary photography at the University of Duisburg-Essen (Folkwang Hochschule). In 2003, she completed a semester abroad at the University of Applied Arts in Budapest. Her extensive travels have taken her to the United States, and Australia, among many other countries. Since 2004, her photographs have been shown regularly in solo and group exhibitions in Copenhagen, Berlin, Milan, Istanbul, and the US. Her photographs have been awarded the Profifoto Förderpreis (2008), the Epson Art Photo Award (2005 and 2006) and the C/O Berlin Talents Award (2009). She lives and works in Berlin.
