Christopher Dawson was born in 1972 in New York City. His work is represented in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and la Maison Européenne de la Photographie, amongst others. His pictures were selected for the 2011 Critical Mass Top 50, and included in the recent exhibition Crime Unseen at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago. He lives in New York with his family.
