Kalle Kataila

Kalle Kataila (b. 1978) lives and works in Helsinki. His first widely exhibited series was Touch of the Width and since then his work has focused on exploring concepts of landscape and how personal narratives attribute to our understandings of these spaces. Kataila was selected for the reGeneration 2 - Tomorrows Photographers Today exhibition tour and publication, which began at the Musée de l’Elysée in 2010. Kataila was selected 2011 as photographer for European Eyes on Japan vol.13. His work has been exhibited internationally and he has mounted solo exhibitions in Finland, Estonia, Canada and Italy.
