Olaf Unverzart

Olaf Unverzart is a graduate of the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig. He has taught Photography at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste Nürnberg and is currently teaching at the Mozarteum Salzburg. He has won several awards and fellowships, most recently the Lead Award in Gold 2010 for his weekly photo column in ZeitMagazin. The La Brea Matrix, where he is one of six photographers following the tracks of Stephen Shore, will be presented in the USA and Germany next year. His images have been featured in numerous publications and magazines worldwide. Since 1997 he has showed his works in exhibitions. His new book Dont fade to grey is his fifth monograph. Unverzart usually works on free projects and represented by Oechsner Galerie. He lives in Munich.
